Everything Your Child Needs for a Successful

Start Get ready for the 2026–2027 school year! Please review the school supply list for your child's grade level to ensure they have the materials needed for a successful first day of school.
 
All students should bring a backpack (please avoid backpacks with wheels). Additional supplies may be requested by your child's teacher throughout the school year. We encourage you to save or print the supply list for easy reference while shopping. Stop by the Kennedy Elementary front office—we'll be happy to provide one.
 

 

2027 School Supply List

Pre-K
  • 1 package of Ticonderoga My First Short Triangular Wood-Cased #2 Pencils
  • 1 package of black EXPO low-odor dry-erase markers, chisel tip,
  • 12 count 1 package of Crayola Extra Jumbo “So Big” crayons,
  • 12 count 1 plastic pencil box 2 two-pocket plastic folders with prongs
  • 1 Children’s Factory Angels toddler nap mat, four-section waterproof folding mat
  • 2 bottles of hand sanitizer,
  • 8 ounces each 4 packages of disinfecting wipes
  • 4 boxes of tissues
  • 1 change of clothes
Kindergarten–Second Grade
  • 1 package of pre-sharpened #2 wood-cased pencils,
  • 30 count 1 package of black EXPO low-odor dry-erase markers, chisel tip,
  • 12 count 1 package of yellow chisel-tip highlighters,
  • 12 count 1 plastic pencil box
  • 2 two-pocket plastic folders with prongs
  • 2 bottles of hand sanitizer,
  • 8 ounces each
  • 4 packages of disinfecting wipes
  • 4 boxes of tissues
  • 1 pair of headphones with a microphone
Third–Fifth Grade
  • 1 package of pre-sharpened #2 wood-cased pencils,

  • 12 count 1 package of yellow gel highlighters,
  • 20 count 2 two-pocket plastic folders with prongs
